Special Screening of ‘Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon’ at UPLINK Kyoto
In conjunction with YBA & BEYOND: British Art in the 90s from the Tate Collection, on view at the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art from 3 June to 6 September 2026, a special screening of the Black Audio Film Collective’s Handsworth Songs—celebrating the 40th anniversary of its release—will be held on 5 July.
To coincide with this programme, a special screening of Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon, a film about the artist in the exhibiton, Francis Bacon, has also been confirmed.
